Elisabeth Kashner, CFA, serves as the director of ETF research at FactSet. Elisabeth is responsible for developing and expanding FactSet’s ETF analytics service, which provides ETF classifications, ratings, and analytical data for due diligence and competitive analysis. As a thought leader, Elisabeth writes about ETF industry trends, with a focus on investment strategy and robo-advisers. Prior to being acquired by FactSet, Elisabeth served as the director of research at ETF.com, where she initially developed ETF analytics.
Elisabeth previously worked as a senior analyst in the investment strategy group at Contango Capital Advisors, the former wealth management arm of Zions Bank. Elisabeth started her financial career as a trader in convertible preferred securities, at Headwaters Capital. Elisabeth holds a B.A. from Brown University and a master’s in financial analysis from the University of San Francisco. She has earned the chartered financial analyst designation. Elisabeth is proud to have served as founding co-head of the San Francisco chapter of Women in ETFs.
